What aspects should be paid attention to when using an impact drill

The impact drill is an electric tool with certain risks when used, and it is necessary to pay attention to safe operation. The main precautions for using the impact drill include:

1. Before operation, it is necessary to check whether the power supply matches the conventional rated 220V voltage on the electric tool to avoid connecting the wrong power supply.

2. Before using the impact drill, please carefully check the insulation protection of the machine body, the adjustment of the auxiliary handle and depth gauge, and whether there are any loose screws on the machine.

3. The selection of impact drill bits should be alloy steel impact drill bits within the allowable range or universal drill bits for drilling. It is strictly prohibited to use drill bits beyond the range.

4. The wire of the impact drill should be well protected, and it is strictly prohibited to drag it on the ground to prevent rolling or cutting. It is also not allowed to drag the wire into oil or water to prevent oil and water from corroding the wire.

5. The handle of the impact drill tool should be kept clean, dry, and free of grease, so that both hands can grip it firmly.

6. The power socket using the impact drill must be equipped with a leakage switch device, and the power cord must be checked for any damage. If the impact drill is found to have leakage, abnormal vibration, high heat, or abnormal noise during use, work should be stopped immediately and an electrician should be found to check and repair it in a timely manner.

7. After connecting the power supply, the impact drill should be allowed to idle for 1 minute to check whether the transmission and impact parts rotate flexibly.

8. When using an impact drill, remember not to apply too much force or perform skewed operations. Before use, be sure to tighten the appropriate drill bit and adjust the depth gauge of the impact drill. When performing vertical and balanced operations, apply force slowly and evenly.

9. When using impact drills for operations, operators should wear necessary protective equipment such as goggles and insulated gloves.

10. When there is a stuck drill, the switch should be turned off immediately. It is strictly prohibited to forcefully pull, press, or twist with electricity to avoid accidents.

11. Working for too long can cause the electric motor and drill bit to heat up. At this time, the operation should be suspended and allowed to cool down before use. It is forbidden to use water and oil to cool down.

12. After the impact drill work is completed, the drill bit should be removed, dust and impurities should be removed, and lubricating oil should be added to the rotating parts.
